Dr. Amy L. Luedemann is a native Houstonian who has been involved in providing dental care since 1990. She started as a dental assistant and went on to put herself through school until she reached her ultimate goal of becoming a pediatric dentist, where her two loves – children and dentistry – come together every day.
She graduated with honors in her undergraduate studies of Nutrition and Psychology. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005 from the University of Texas Dental Branch – Houston. She then traveled to Seattle, Washington where she received her Pediatric Specialty Training and a Masters degree from the University of Washington.
After completing her formal training, she worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center. She served on the craniofacial team there and worked extensively with children who had special healthcare needs. Additionally, Dr. Luedemann served as an Acting Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Washington. In this role, she provided lectures and clinical teaching.
Dr. Luedemann is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and participates professionally with many organizations promoting oral health in children. In addition to being concerned with and involved in the important issues facing the profession of dentistry, Dr. Luedemann has also enjoyed traveling abroad and providing dental care in underserved areas to help those in need. She’s traveled to more than 20 countries and provided dentistry in nearly half of them.
In her practice of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Luedemann has become well known for her compassion and expertise in pediatric, laser dentistry, frenectomies, myofunctional therapy and a holistic approach to treatment and materials for children. She has a passion for integrating technologies and methodologies to create the best possible environment and experience for a child’s dental visit.
In her private life, Dr. Luedemann enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing board games, reading, gardening, yoga, and cooking.
Dr. Rachael Garrett is from the land of princesses, Orlando, FL, which if you spend any time with her, will quickly become obvious. She attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston for both her doctorate and residency. While in residency, she practiced at Herman Hospital, and UT’s special needs clinic. She had a wide exposure to just about every “special medical” need a child could have. Dr. Garrett worked with craniofacial patients from infancy through adolescence. In addition to her training with special needs children, and very apprehensive children, she has a huge heart for the community. Dr. Garrett has volunteered in many varied community events, such as “Give Kids a Smile Day” and the Special Olympics.
Dr. Garrett is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and participates professionally with many organizations promoting oral health in children.
Dr. Garrett is married. Her husband, Dr. Gomez is a general dentist. She and her husband love to run together and participate in running for causes. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Delgado, known as Dr. D is a native of Southern California and is extremely happy to be providing care to Katy, Texas. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors at the prestigious Universidad Tecnológica de Mexico in Mexico City. She realized very early on in her dental career that she had a passion to work with children. After graduating in 2004 she pursued advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders providing dental care for special needs children and the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She is trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry including conscious sedation, pediatric dental trauma, hospital dentistry, and treating patients with special medical needs. She has also enjoyed her involvement with Special Olympics International and Special Smiles Program.
Dr. Delgado is dedicated to treating your child’s oral health needs in a fun and comfortable setting, while promoting proper habits and a positive attitude for your child now and in the future. Dr. Delgado is professionally affiliated with the following organizations:
